Dr. Romney Piamonte
Dr. Romney Piamonte’s passion for dentistry came at an early age when he experienced first-hand how a beautiful healthy smile from expert dental care empowered his own confidence. Dr. Piamonte received his bachelors in chemistry from UCLA, followed by his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society. He completed his General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital where he honed his proficiencies in restorations, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign® and root canal therapy.
In his spare time, Dr. Piamonte enjoys working out, which counterbalances his joy of cooking and eating Julia Child recipes. Other passions include what some may consider a slight obsession with his dachshund, Hans. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Piamonte was a professional musical theatre actor, and still continues to perform with friends for fun.
Dr. Antonio Clares
Dr. Clares (Tony) is a Cuban-born South Florida native. His interest in dentistry stems from a love of science and working with his hands. Dr. Clares is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry, and completed his residency in Brooklyn Hospital Center. He is very skilled in all aspects of dentistry and his passion for the arts drives him to create beautiful and aesthetic restorations.
Dr. Clares is a serial hobbyist, spending time painting, sewing, sculpting and learning (maybe struggling) to play guitar. He is also fluent in spanish.
Dr. Arti Patel
Dr. Arti Patel’s interest in dentistry originally stemmed from her passion for art and science. She enjoys how dentistry uniquely combines both fields in order to create healthy teeth and beautiful smiles. Dr. Patel received her Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the University of Maryland. After that, she spent several years in India working with nonprofits in the health sector to help in underserved communities. It was here she was inspired by the resolute commitment of so many leaders in their fields to make others’ lives better. She returned to the US to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington, DC, after which she did her General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center where she focused on cosmetic dentistry. Since then, Dr. Patel completed a one year fellowship in implantology associated with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Patel enjoys cooking old and new recipes from all over the world. A self-proclaimed lifelong learner, she enjoys non-fiction reading, traveling to new places, and game nights with family and friends.
